Data Update: In January 2026, to improve accuracy, staff updated the source of vehicle miles traveled to the Google Environmental Insights Explorer. The indicator was also changed to a percent change from a 2018 baseline to better show variation overtime. The baseline was set to 2018, the earliest year available.
