Adopted in 2016, the Longmont Sustainability Plan provides a road map to achieve the vision of becoming an engaged community that promotes environmental stewardship, economic vitality, and social equity.
The Sustainability Plan supports the guiding principles of the Envision Longmont Multimodal & Comprehensive Plan. Since the Sustainability Plan was adopted in 2016, additional reports and resolutions have also been passed such as the Climate Action Recommendation Report. Connections to these efforts are highlighted throughout the listed actions.
Through the Plan, residents, businesses, and the City can examine and support collective, collaborative efforts to make Longmont the best place it can be, now and in the future.
