As the City designs its programs and policies to support electrification in the private market, it will consider the downstream effects on current tenants and lead with equitable housing or antidisplacement policies.

City staff stay abreast of Federal and State policies and programs that support affordable electrification. These resources are tapped and shared whenever appropriate. City staff also support local affordable housing organizations with both efficiency and electrification resources that can improve comfort, health and safety for occupants as well as reduce utility costs.
