Continue education campaigns in regular meetings of the Senior and Youth Advisory Boards, RTD, Via, and other groups as appropriate to increase awareness of traffic changes, such as flashing yellow turn lane indicators, new transit options, biking/walking groups, and other topics that influence the ability of older adults, young people, and non-English speakers to safely and comfortably travel through the City.

Description

Current education efforts can be tracked in the Equitable Carbon Free Transportation Roadmap Step E.2 Transit Education and EE.1 Cultural Broker.

Additional education campaigns will be developed in the future for the new Bus Rapid Transit (2026), and Vision Zero (the goal of zero deaths on the City's transportation system) in 2025 as part of the City's Vision Zero Action Plan (to be completed in 2024).
