The Housing and Community Investment Division administers an annual funding application cycle for affordable housing development projects using local, regional, and federal HUD resources. The funding cycle encourages public-private partnerships to maximize leveraging of public funds. On June 23, 2026, City Council approved over $2.6 million of funding awards for affordable housing projects, including rehabilitation, new construction, and land acquisition projects from the City's Affordable Housing Fund. In addition, $2.8 million was allocated from the Boulder County Affordable and Attainable Housing Tax.
