Identify a permanent, dedicated funding source for the Affordable Housing Fund.

Description

Housing and Community Investment staff are engaging with neighboring municipalities, Boulder County staff, elected officials, and other community stakeholders to determine allocation of funding from Boulder County Ballot Initiative 1B (Affordable Housing Extension), which passed in November 2023. 1B funding could potentially be a permanent funding source for the Affordable Housing Fund. Decisions on how 1B funding will be allocated will be decided by the Boulder County Commissioners by the end of 2024, with funds available starting in 2025.
