Description
Platte River Power Authority and its four owner communities continue to explore options for expanding the renewable energy portfolio, adding dispatchable battery energy storage, and improving the management of distributed energy resources (DERS) in pursuit of the City’s goal of 100% renewable electric energy by 2030 goal.

Based on the results of a 2019 solar feasibility study, and as part of a funded CIP project, staff has moved into procurement on two roof-mounted community solar solar demonstration projects to be located city facilities.
