Similar to the solar/storage group-buy opportunity for Longmont customers, the City is collaborating with Solar United Neighbors/Switch Together, Boulder County, and other Boulder County jurisdictions to promote the Switch Together heat pump group-buy offering. This program vets and contracts with specific installers, streamlines the process, and potentially lowers the costs for getting residential heat pumps.

Solar United Neighbors' SwitchTogether solar group buy
The City is collaborating with Solar United Neighbors/Switch Together and other jurisdictions in Boulder County to promote the Switch Together rooftop solar group-buy offering. This program vets and contracts with specific installers, lowers costs of installations, and streamlines the process for getting rooftop solar. The offering was available to Longmont customers in 2025 and will continue in 2026.
