Several organizations currently serve Longmont residents and businesses with energy efficiency advising and rebates, including Efficiency Works, LPC’s efficiency rebate administrator through Platte River Power Authority. These organizations have the programs and processes in place to incorporate electrification information and education for customers, incentivize the desired equipment, and provide training and engagement for contractors. Partnerships between the City, energy efficiency administrators, and affordable housing organizations has the potential to further public health, housing affordability and progress toward climate goals.

Description
LPC and Platte River's Efficiency Works are in the second year of electrification incentives, weatherization bonus incentives, and energy advising that address electrification opportunities as part of Efficiency Works' suite of customer support options. New in 2024 are electric infrastructure incentives that help customers pay for expensive electric service and panel upgrades.
Boulder County also offers electrification incentives that are stackable with those from Efficiency Works and with any state and federal tax incentives.
