1.131st and Main Transit Station

The City has received an agreed to $16.4 million in funding from RTD with which to proceed with design and construction of the transit facilities that includes a structural parking garage with bus station at ground level and construction of new infrastructure and the extension of Coffman Street as part of the Coffman Street Multimodal Corridor. Construction plans in preparation for Coffman Street and negotiations underway with private sector developer. Construction on these facilities is anticipated to commence the 2nd Qtr. of 2025. City staff is also in negotiations with a private developer to construct about 300 apartment units and 30,000 square feet of commercial to be constructed concurrently and as part of the transit facilities.
