The City of Longmont is on-task for starting microtransit service by the end of Summer 2024. This is a critical component of eliminating the first/last mile barrier for most everyone in the City.
Description
The City has hired a third-party vendor to provide microtransit service for the entire City/planning area, which connects to the Firestone - Longmont Mobility Hub on CO-119 and I-25. Additionally, the City and partners in Boulder County are working to expand electric bicycle sharing to Longmont and the surrounding areas.
