Review and revise the Public Improvement Design Standards and Public Improvements typical street cross sections integrating complete street design principals with the Enhanced Recreation Corridors recommended in the Parks, Recreation and Trails Master Plan and supporting TOD and transit supportive growth.

The current street design standards are intentionally flexible and allow complete street design and Enhanced Recreation Corridors. These concepts are design and planning related and require an understanding by the design professionals working in those areas. The next steps include educating design professionals and city staff to understand the concepts and effects related to the integrated street design as well as updating the Roadway Master Plan for larger corridor planning.
