Assist Wayfinding Effort to identify signage for downtown parking lots. Generate wayfinding opportunities to and along the greenway trails.

Description

In the downtown, concerns of parking shortages are common, yet there is a great deal of free parking if one knows where it is located. The downtown wayfinding signage plan included the deployment of parking lot id signs. In 2023, locations for 13 downtown parking lot I.D. signs were identified, the signs were ordered, manufactured and installed in April and May of 2024.

In the second half of 2024, City staff continues coordinating with the LDDA to identify the final signs for manufacturing installation to continue a swap out of road signs between 1st Avenue and Longs Peak. Staff also continues to develop a list of wayfinding priorities with a wayfinding steering team to develop a proposed plan and project list by the second half of 2024.
