Description
The Main St Corridor Plan (2019) includes a number of projects/improvements for the entire Main St corridor through the City. This work implements these projects/improvements in an equitable manner. Current efforts include:
- Adding flashing beacons at all mid-block Main St crossings for higher visibility for pedestrians and bike users.
- A new design for the Main/21st intersection, considering safety and comfort of pedestrians and bike users.
- Continued work with the Regional Transportation District (RTD) for bus stop and midblock crossing improvements on North Main as part of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) corridor.
